No. ClawStar supports both agents but is not an official OpenClaw or Hermes product or service. We provide preinstallation, integrations, configuration, a desktop client, and ongoing maintenance optimized for users in China. Their names, projects, and code belong to their respective projects, communities, or rights holders.

No. ClawStar is designed for non-technical users. You do not need commands, environment setup, or port numbers. Insert the drive, open the app, configure a model as prompted, and connect your chat app by QR code.

You can. A self-built setup usually means handling environments, configuration, model providers, and chat integrations yourself. ClawStar is for people who would rather start using the assistant—we prepare the complicated parts in advance.

A normal AI chat app mainly answers questions. ClawStar lets an AI assistant work with files, email, calendars, browsers, GitHub, notes, and other tools to complete concrete tasks.

The ClawStar drive has both USB-A and Type-C connectors and works with most computers that have either port. The desktop app supports both Windows and macOS.

It depends. The OpenClaw and Hermes environments, desktop app, and preinstalled AI skill resources live on the drive, so basic startup does not require downloading them again.

ClawStar stores the model configuration required to call your selected provider. API keys are encrypted, and you can delete, export, or reset configuration at any time.

ClawStar includes local services, startup helpers, communication integrations, and update components, so some antivirus tools may ask for confirmation. Buy and update only through official channels and follow the user guide when allowing the app. Do not run modified clients from unofficial sources.
